Whitepaper

Three problems, one framework, one real case

This whitepaper takes a detailed look at how AI agents, given the right context, deliver the 10x improvement your data team is actually being asked for.

Data teams at regulated enterprises are under more pressure than ever. AI promises acceleration but without a governed foundation, it delivers confident wrong answers at scale. This whitepaper explains the structural problem, introduces the Butterfly framework, and presents a real-world case study with measurable results.

Why transformation debt compounds, and why AI accelerates it

The three forces colliding at once in every regulated data team, and why vibe coding makes the problem worse, not better.

The Butterfly framework: agentic where it helps, deterministic where it matters

How the Enterprise Context Store gives agents the structured context they need, and why that changes what's possible.

A core banking migration that could not wait two years

What happened when a European private bank put Butterfly to work on 5,500+ objects under a hard regulatory deadline.
