Pricing

Pay for automation, not for data

One subscription with two components: the people who actively build, and the transformation logic VaultSpeed generates for you. Data volume, runtime and read-only users are never metered. This page explains the model; a first sizing takes one conversation.

The model

Two components, one predictable subscription

VaultSpeed charges for the people who actively build and for the transformation logic it generates for you. Nothing else is metered.

PLATFORM FEE Automation seats who actively builds + CONSUMPTION FEE Mappings how much logic is generated = ONE SUBSCRIPTION Annual price predictable, tied to your automation footprint optional add-ons Not in the formula: data volume, runtime, generation cycles, read-only users

Platform fee

Automation seats

A seat is a named user who configures, models, maps, generates or deploys. Seats carry the active roles in the platform and can be reassigned when the team changes.

  • Everyone else reads for free: unlimited read-only access for business stakeholders, auditors, architects and leadership
  • Role-based access control with ready-made and custom roles

Consumption fee

Mappings

A mapping is one transformation VaultSpeed generates for you, across extraction, staging, raw vault and business vault.

  • Only the latest locked version of each vault counts, so work in progress is never billed
  • Each source table yields a predictable number of mappings, so a table count gives a good first estimate

Never metered

What is included without limits

  • Code generation, as often as you need it
  • Runtime: the code runs in your own environment, with no execution fee
  • Data volume and regeneration cycles
  • Read-only users, company-wide

Degressive tiers

The more you automate, the less each unit costs

Both components are priced in blocks. Every block has its own rate, and the rate steps down with each block you add, so the average cost per seat and per mapping falls as your footprint grows.

RATE PER UNIT, BY BLOCK first block later blocks seats or mappings added

Options

Enterprise add-ons

Two add-ons adjust the annual price. Everything else is in the base subscription.

Add-on

Single sign-on

Integration with your identity provider, central authentication and role provisioning. Priced as an uplift on the seat component only.

Add-on

Private instance

A dedicated metadata environment with IP allow-listing, private link and a choice of cloud region for data residency. Includes single sign-on. Priced as an uplift on the total subscription.

Sizing

How a first sizing goes

Four questions are enough for an indicative range in the first conversation. A formal quote follows the scoping session.

Count your sourcesWhich systems you connect and roughly how many tables they hold.
Estimate the mappingsThe table count translates into a mapping footprint across the layers.
Count who buildsThe people who will model, generate and deploy. Readers are free.
Pick your optionsSingle sign-on, private instance, preferred cloud region.

Prefer to compare with the alternative? The honest comparison is the subscription against the fully loaded cost of the engineering team needed to hand-build and maintain the same transformation layer.

How to buy

Buy through the marketplace you already use

VaultSpeed is listed on the Snowflake Marketplace and the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, so a subscription can count toward a cloud commitment you already have.
